bass lures guide
Could anyone tell me what non fake Lures and test line to use for all good fresh water fish?

Hi I’m Trevor I’m working on becoming a professional fisherman, but the main thing is I love fishing. I have my list set for the things I need to become a pro. I’m from, Wales, Wisconsin. I can’t seem to find any information about good fresh water fish. I would like someone to help me with a list of fish. You know Large and smallmouth bass, Catfish, Pikes, Muskies, Walleye, Perch, Crappies, rock bass, all trout, salmon, bluegill and what not to fish for and keep. Like how big should each of these fish be for me to mount it? The lure thing can be helpful I know a bit about what to use I just would like suggestions on the lures but the type of test line, real, rod, boat a good boat no little boats that tip over. I’m 250lbs, I need something sturdy, trolling motor, a electric guide, ice fishing pole ect… If any of you can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I’m not sure what you mean by “Non fake lures” bit I’m guessing you mean natural bait.

Personally I would only mount a state or world record fish.

Live bait would be the way to go for most fish. Catching and fishing your own will teach you which bait catches which fish. Try to use bait that are native to the body of water you are fishing.

Shiners catch bass, and catfish
Minnows catch just about anything… Same with worms.
Catfish eat just about anything

Understanding each fish you want is the key.

If you check the website of your local fish and wildlife commission they usually have some kind if “Fish Identification” that give you tips on catching certain species, their habitat and feeding preferences. And a whole lot more.

I don’t own a boat, but if I did, i’d get one that would confortably fit me and my gear… If you plan to have freinds on the boat, make sure their is enough room for them and their gear too.

Light tackle for smaller fish and work your way up.
